As Head of Post-Production, Eileen oversees Cognition’s Digital Intermediate department and guides film and television projects through editorial finishing, color grading and deliverables. She also works with the sales team and helps plan strategy and growth.

With nearly 20 years of experience in post-production, Eileen came to Cognition from NBC/Universal where she was involved in feature film mastering and restoration. She also spent 12 years at EFILM as a digital intermediate producer, supervising final post for scores of studio and independent films. Earlier, she managed a team that delivered first-generation, high-definition video masters for over 125 films. She has deep knowledge of film and digital workflows (live action and animation, 2D and 3D), strong managerial skills and a reputation for building customer relationships.

Eileen has worked with many of the industry’s top directors and cinematographers, including the Coen Brothers, Emmanuel “Chivo” Lubezki, Oliver Stone, Mike Nichols and Stephen Goldblatt. She has an affinity for female filmmakers, having served as Digital Intermediate Producer on films by Ava DuVernay, Francesca Gregorini, Kimberly Peirce and Judy Greer, among others.

In her free time, Eileen can be found running trails near JPL and Griffith Park, or training for her next marathon. When she catches her breath, she shops local farmers markets and enjoys cooking at home. Her love of fast cars keeps her in the driver’s seat.
